The Rapture Unfolds Downunder (novella and screenplay)
Gripping, small-scale story about characters caught up in the drama of the end times. Also a journey into biblical theology and eschatology as the world falls apart (under the guise of coming together) around the central characters. Not that I claim to know the day or hour, or Pre v Mid v Post Tribulation. I hope this story has something to say. It's not about the timing, it's about 'what will the characters do'?
Synopsis: Pete and his mates scoffed at Ken’s end-times warnings, dismissing them as religious rambling endured at many a barbie over a beer, until his friend vanished.
Flames to a Moth (Finalist Bris Indie Film Festival 2025)
Based on the ace thriller by local author Vicki Stevens, it's awesome to see our work recognised with the screenplay. A co-write.
Synopsis: When the body of Bryden James washes up in the reedy shallows of a dam west of Brisbane, none is more horrified than Ashley McCabe and Campbell Druery. As police begin their homicide investigations, Ash and Cam recall a friendship formed in childhood and set ablaze as adults by longing, manipulation, and betrayal.
Waiting For a Star to Fall
Based on the novel by ace writer times ten, Belinda Missen, it's a Christmas romance feel-good story with all the trimmings. Another co-write.
Synopsis: Isobel Bennett is waiting for the number 333 bus when a man quite literally falls into her lap. The sun is shining, Christmas lights are twinkling, and a gorgeous man from London with dark brown hair has just slipped and is now pressed against her.
Synopsis: When a loveless, self-absorbed PR consultant, obsessed with her pampered pug, inherits a mysterious property in a third world jungle, she journeys across the world to confront her deepest fears while stepping into uncharted territory.
